Home & Hospital Medical Personnel's in-home elderly care services allow you or your loved one to maintain a sense of independence comfortably at home. We take pride in providing high-quality care to our clients. As a nurse-owned business, our focus is on client health, companionship, and satisfaction.
Purpose of In-Home Elderly Care
Many seniors can manage most of their day-to-day tasks themselves but may require assistance with more difficult jobs. Aging may mean a loss of coordination, strength, and balance, making simple things like doing laundry, preparing a meal, or running the vacuum more difficult and possibly risky. Also, older adults may be more vulnerable to isolation, loneliness, and depression. We provide the assistance needed alongside the companionship vital for emotional support.
Elderly Care Services
Our services most commonly include assistance with bathing and grooming, medication reminders, companionship, appointment reminders, transportation, and light housekeeping. When you or your loved one chooses to seek our in-home elderly care services, we will listen to your concerns, assess their situation, and discuss the needs we can meet based on a client's plan of care. Our fully licensed, bonded, and insured personnel are available from three hours a day up to and including live-in care so that you can choose the right level of assistance for your situation. When you or your loved one is ready to seek care, you'll be introduced to several caregivers, so that you can choose the best fit.
How to Know If Elderly Care Services Are Needed
Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) are basic self-care tasks usually learned in early childhood. These tasks include feeding, toileting, selecting proper attire, grooming, maintaining continence, putting on clothes, bathing, walking and transferring (such as moving from bed to wheelchair). When you or your loved one cannot perform these tasks independently, it is time to consider outside help. Careful attention is given to selecting a caregiver whose personality will best fit your loved ones and eliminate the potential feeling of isolation and loneliness. At Home & Hospital Medical Personnel, our Certified Home Health Aides can supplement your loved one's shortfall on one or all of these ADL's without leaving the comfort and familiar space of one's home.
